Numerical simulation on the re-injection capacity of drainage water in Area H of E gas field

Abstract The E gas field is a typical dense sandstone reservoir. It faces the problem of sewage treatment during production and development due to influence water formation. H area with weak capacity selected for re-injection evaluating its significant step before treatment. In this paper, geological modeling numerical simulation are carried out evaluate drainage in Area East field, maximize amount injection within acceptable range reservoir, analyze leakage two main possible leaky layers. results show that: formation rupture pressure study 42 MPa; flow rate should be controlled at 60-80 m3/d, recommended wellhead 16-20 He 7 sections considered subsequent wastewater re-injection.
